Cavaliers Of Healdsburg
Thank you so much for your interest in Cavaliers of Healdsburg! We have been breeding AKC purebred cavaliers since 2008 and own multiple generations of our lines. We have a big house and yard
that make for a perfect life for a cavalier. They are definitely spoiled!
The goal of our breeding program is super healthy, well socialized family dogs with calm temperaments. All our breeding dogs are heart certified clear of any heart defects. All have annual exams from our vet and are cleared 100% of all health issues before breeding. Their health is our number one concern always as they are members of our family!
The wait time as of fall, 2023 is probably around 6-18 months depending on the size of our upcoming litters and how specific you are on color (longer for girls, longer for Blenheims, shorter for the other colors). It is a long wait but they are worth it! All good breeders have a long waitlist. If the breeder you contact has puppies available, that is a red flag.
Be sure to visit each breeder you are interviewing and see where the
parents and puppies are spending their time. It is so important for this breed to be indoors and part of a home setting!
They are bred to be companion animals and can get anxiety and depression if left alone for too long. If you work outside
the home full time, a cavalier is not the dog for you. They are more like fuzzy children than dogs!
In order to see if a cavalier puppy would be a good fit for you, please fill out the contact form on this website for an
application. Once approved, we welcome you to visit us, meet our family and dogs,
answer any questions you may have and go over the process.
